Biography
Dr. Wallace received his dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry and is a graduate of Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry where he received his Certificate in Periodontics in 1971. For the past 5 years, he has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Periodontics at Columbia University and for 19 years prior to that has had a similar academic rank at the New York University Department of Implant Dentistry. He is a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and a Fellow of the Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Wallace lectures on subjects relating to implant dentistry both in the United States and abroad. He has authored over 60 peer-reviewed papers relating to implant dentistry, contributed numerous textbook chapters, and has co-edited a textbook on maxillary sinus elevation surgery. Dr. Wallace received the 2013 American Academy of Periodontology Master Clinician’s Award for outstanding service and level of practice.
