•

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

The events of 2020 will go down in history and be remembered for a very long time to come. It has shown us how fragile and unpredictable our lives can be. The Covid-19 pandemic has indeed been a trying time for all of us.

At the same time, I believe, it can bring our profession even closer together. Adversity can bring about innovation, as we learn to adapt to our new circumstances together.

The planning of the AOSC 2021 has been trying too. The uncertain future, at least in the short term, has forced us to re-think new ways to bring this biennial event to you. In addition, it will be held during the 30th anniversary of the Association of Orthodontists (Singapore) – the AOS.

After much thought and lengthy discussions, the organizing committee of the 2021 AOSC has decided to bring this installment of the event to you via a digital platform. This will run online over 10 days - from the 2nd of July 2021 to the 11th of July 2021. We are fortunate to have Dr Vivien Tan and Dr Koh Chay Hui helm the scientific programme.
The wealth of experience they have will help us craft an educational, as well as interactive programme.

Speakers from all over the world have been very supportive and are keen participate in this progamme.

Please keep a look out for further announcements regarding the AOSC 2021.

In the meantime, stay healthy and keep safe.

Dr. Bryce Lee

Chairperson

On behalf of the organizing committee

Association of Orthodontists (Singapore) Congress 2021
